FACE encourages you to consider volunteering abroad. Not only does volunteering abroad give you an oppurtunity to completely immerse yourself in the culture and way of life of other regions of the world, but it also gives you a chance to contribute in a positive way to your host country of choice. As citizens of the developed world we have so much to give to those who have so little. Starfish Country Home School

Do you have a background in Education, teaching English as a second language, Human Services or South East Asian Studies?

If yes, then check out this fantastic organization:

The Starfish Country Home School is a free alternative school and 'orphanage' for orphans and very poor children aged three to seven. The school expects to retain and support most of the same children through high school. Its early education curriculum is principally based on Montessori and similar alternative learning philosophies.
